Welcome to the HearSound family!

We're thrilled you've chosen HearSound to enhance your TV listening experience. To make setup as simple as possible, we've highlighted the most important steps to help you get started quickly and enjoy your device to the fullest.

Quick Tips for a Great Start

Step 1: Fully Charge Your Hearsound Product

Charge your headset for at least 8 hours before first use. This ensures your headset performs at its best right from the start.

Step 2: Connect the Audio Cable from Your TV to the Transmitter

Your system includes two audio cable options, but you only need to use one.

Optical Audio Cable: Recommended for the best sound quality. Remove the plastic caps from both ends of the digital optical audio cord before using.

3.5mm Line-In Cable: An alternative connection option if needed

Step 3: Power Your Devices

Your system includes two USB power adapters:

  1. Use one adapter to charge your headset or power the headset charging cradle.
  2. Use the second adapter to power the transmitter. However, if your TV has a USB port (common in TVs manufactured within the last 10 years), connect the transmitter directly to your TV's USB port using the included USB-C to USB-A cable.

In this case, the second adapter can be saved for future use or to power an additional headset.

Step 4: Pair Your Hearsound Product

Click here to watch a short video on how to pair your headset and transmitter.

  1. Turn on both the headset and the transmitter

A blue light on each will indicate they are powered on. It's okay if the light blinks.

  2. Check the Source on the transmitter

Look for the blue light over the connection type you're using (AUX, COAXIAL, or OPTICAL) on the front of the transmitter. If it's not correct, press the Source Source button to switch to the correct input.

  3. Pairing Steps (Follow these steps in sequence):
    1. Press and hold the Pair PAIR button on the transmitter until the blue light starts blinking.
    2. Release the Pair PAIR button immediately.
    3. Then immediately press and hold the Tone TONE button on the headset.
    4. Release the Tone TONE button as soon as you hear a beep from the headset.
Both blue lights should blink, then turn solid within 4-5 seconds, indicating they are paired successfully.
